MAYUKH DATTA

Operations and Logistics

Mayukh Datta is a master's student within the Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy program at the University of Minnesota. He is deeply passionate about advocating for energy and environmental justice in disadvantaged communities, particularly in Mississippi. He attended Mississippi State University for his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering. During his time there, he worked with with Braeden and Ryan to start Feeding the Future Mississippi. In his free time, Mayukh is into hiking, powerlifting, and watching anime. After getting his master's, Mayukh hopes to return to Mississippi and continue advocating for energy and environmental justice in communities that are harmed the most.

BRAEDEN FOLDENAUER

Fundraising and Development

​Braeden Foldenauer is a middle school social studies teacher in Baltimore, MD, having previously taught middle school in Chelsea, MA. Braeden earned his B.A. in Government from Harvard College and his M.Ed. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. During undergrad, Braeden served as the vice president of the university's first-generation, low-income student union and was involved with various mentorship programs on campus. Braeden's passion for college access and mentorship is what first drew him to the field of education. He aspires to one day return to Mississippi to support education equity through a career in school administration and education policy.

RYAN HOPSON

Technology and Structure

Ryan Hopson is a current 2021 Venture for America Fellow working in tech in Pittsburgh, PA. Ryan is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where he studied Computer Engineering. While in undergrad, he served as the president of MSU's Toastmasters Club and researched software development for engineering education curriculum.  He also hosted Mississippi's 2nd Annual Hackathon while at MSU. Ryan hopes to work in Tech and return to Mississippi to foster industry growth in his home state.
